Me, I’ll prefer Aerosoft’s Jo Erlend Sund and Lukas Vezyroglou developed Venice Marco Polo LIPZ instead-though.
Looks great. Lots of nice detail near the airport.

Can’t comment on that one, but I am very satisfied with their LPMA.
LIPZ is becoming a hard choice. I will wait for the release of Aerosofts version, because the name Jo Erlend Sund promises a premium product, but it will be worth comparing the two.
In the meantime I keep my BMW version and think about how often I am actually flying there…

Having watched the trailer, Atelic’s LIPZ looks very good, however there are a few default assets (approach lights, perimeter fencing, roadside barriers) that I’m sure Aerosoft will replace with custom examples. Other than that, I think this might be far closer than we think, especially when you consider Atelic’s very reasonable price.

I agree. It will probably come down to taste. And for me, the brickwork of the buildings seems to be too much on the orange side in the Atelic trailer, and having been there irl two years ago I also like the Alilaguna boats in the Aerosoft version better. I can’t remember seeing the boats Atelic uses on the way to/from the airport. Might have changed or I didn’t get the full picture, but as we went by an Alilaguna boat like AS uses it to our B&B, I strongly lean toward that version for now. Let’s wait and see…

How does the BMW LIPZ look compared to this and Aerosofts one? Anyone able to compare the ones that are out?
BMOTW’s is nice but it’s ‘chassis’ is FS2020. It can’t really compete with Atelic’s 2024-native and I’m sure it won’t compare too favourably with Aerosoft’s upcoming version. But BMOTW are very reactive when new versions of their airports release, so who knows?

@TomL7753 Thanks for the note on the brickwork! We’ll take another look at the colours with the team, check how they come across in different lighting conditions, and see what we can improve for v1.0.3.
