Hello!
I will try to reproduce this issue.
is this under FS 2020 or 2024?
What is the prop RPM at Max power?
Please check mixture and prop lever full forward.
If it is a high altitude field, you may need to pull back on the mixture.

Hi Mario!
I use 2020 exclusively.
When I start the plane on runway 06 at EHRD which is at sea level; weather preset “clear skies”:
Prop full forward - Mixture full rich: check
Flaps 2nd notch, trim neutral: check
Max RPM (on runway with parking brakes on) = 2700 (exactly on the red line)
Manifold pressure: 29
I apply full throttle and rotate at 80kts; plane takes off no problem.
When I start the plane on one of the parking spots, cold and dark, and start the engine with ctrl-E:
Prop full forward - Mixture full rich: check
Flaps 2nd notch, trim neutral: check
Max RPM (on runway with parking brakes on) = 2700 (again, exactly on the red line)
Manifold pressure: 29
I taxi to the runway; apply full throttle; wait with rotation until airspeed says 100 kts. Plane barely comes off the ground. Stall warning sounds, plane sinks back onto the tarmac.
Folks, just a friendly this topic is for users to discuss the product.

Thank you.
Hello, 1st time posting here.
I’ve been doing cold, dock starts with this aircraft. I’ve experienced that the plontoons aren’t initially deployed and can only be deployed once the engine is started. The plontoon lever can certainly be moved up and down, but without the engne having been fired, it doesn’t do anything. On the other had, if I move that lever down before starting the engine, once started the plontoons drop with a thud and a noticable shaking of the aircraft.
So, I’m wondering if this is expected behavior; i.e. does the plontoon deployment mechanism somehow draw something (power, pressure, exhaust, etc.) from the engine in order to function?
Otherwise, the FN-333 has been a joy to fly and everything has worked flawlessly.
I’ve never seen one of these planes, much less ever flown one. However, this sounds more like an Asobo animation thing. It may be there might be an option you could find in an appropriate .flt file (I don’t know which one is used when starting at a dock, but it might be apron.flt) that you might find a variable which lets you start with the floats in the down position. Otherwise you’ll have to write to the developer to get his thoughts.
What a great emergency landing!!!
This is a MSFS limitation. I have no way of controlling the starting position of the pontoons at flight start. They always start retracted. Furthermore, the physics engine does not account for them slowly retracting. The moment they are not fully extended, they physically disappear. The pontoons are hydraulically powered, therefor they will not move without the engine. Same goes for the flaps
