Seems RDPresets is not developing sceneries and simpixel is carrying on?

I’ve heard comments from a couple of people who bought it. The consensus is that it’s probably best avoided. Doesn’t look great in the screenshots/trailer.
Interesting that SimPixel is basically part of the old RDP team — I like RDP’s work but apart from Bari and Weeze, SP haven’t really impressed me (yet). RDP stuff seems more detailed than SP.

With both SimPixel’s and RDP’s in the current sales, I’m perhaps looking at getting one. Simpixel’s is pricey (especially when you consider their Bari, Weeze and Tangier are all going for under £4!) but of course more up-to-date than RDP’s. However RDP’s actually looks better, apart from having no terminal interior (that I can see?). They both seem to use a fair few default Asobo assets but RDP’s ramp looks more alive with clutter.
How do you find RDP’s, overall?
I should never think 1 peace of a seccond on the RD version…
RD’s version is older, and like all their airports, bad optimized and full of bugs…

I just watched VirtualAirlinePilot’s review video for each and SimPixel’s generally looks better (particularly the ground textures). It has more apron clutter than the marketing screenshots suggest. However the multi-storey car-park looks a LOT better in the RDP version — I find it hard to believe the SimPixel team didn’t recreate it at least to the standard f the earlier version.
You’re right saying the worry with RDP is that they no longer exist and so there’s zero chance of bug fixes and improvements.
Liking SimPixel LIRN and no issues so far for me.
On the other hand, a similar thing is that there’s no SimPixel LXGB or EHRD to replace RDPresets LXGB and EHRD, and the same zero chance of bug fixes for that one especially as it has a configuration tool for animated vehicles that stop across the runway which never got updated for newer planes support and Rotterdam, 2 of the remaining RDP airports yet to get a newer version by SimPixel..
I asked SimPixel about them doing a new version of LXGB and EHRD and was directed to ask RDP that no longer exists instead, got no response as expected , ugh, a worry!

Unfortunately I’m not currently working with or doing any development for RDPresets anymore. Because of that I’m not involved with updates to the LXGB scenery or the configurator tool.
If any updates or changes are planned, you would need to contact RDPresets directly. As far as I’m aware they haven’t been actively maintaining their products recently, so I’m not sure if any updates are planned for newer aircraft like the Fenix A320.
A shame, as I enjoy RDP LXGB and EHRD for its immersion and details lacking from freeware mods and have yet to find another payware to replace it with, unlike with LIRN which I replaced with the newer SimPixel version.

I’m led to believe that the runway at Naples is totally flat, with no attempt to implement an elevation profile. Is this correct? Hugely off-putting for me if so.
I have, however, found a landing video that appears to show some degree of runway slope so I’m thinking it was improved in the v1.01 update?
