New Server Type/Mode: Real-World Simulation (MMOSRPE)

New Server Type/Mode: Real-World Simulation (One-Wold Simulation)
MMOSRPE = Massively Multiplayer Online Simmers Role Playing Experience

The Goal: [Total Immersion] For all the serious simmers to play and interact in realistic real-world scenarios in one massive server (whole-earth). Bringing the simmers community in a whole new level of multiplayer real-world interaction experience.

The new server type/mode will simulate the real-world as all players are locked and not able to change any of the weather, time, and simulation mode. This will bring the simmers on all equal grounds thus promoting a more realistic environment. This new server type/mode will still be on Microsoft servers. But on a different shard.

The Issue: The issues with the multiplayer servers currently are the lack of coherent real-world experience. It’s a mess! A simmer may bring in different times of day, different weather, and the lack of simulation difficulty. A simmer you encounter may be on a different time of day, or on rainy weather etc… while on the other hand, yourself is in a totally different experience altogether. This breaks the simulation immersion experience as though you may be in the same world but far apart. This is one of the reasons why some may disable live traffic altogether.

Server features:

Lock to Live weather
Lock to Live traffic
Lock all assistance to HARD. All assistance is turned off and tooltip/visual guides are also turned off.
Will require ATC/Vatsim communication.
Disable fast forward (time acceleration)
Disable slew mode (Not needed in multiplayer as it will break the immersion)

What are the simmers think of this mode/type of server? Please comment below. <3 and like

I like the idea, but the devs should first put some time into fixing and completing the stock aircraft which they seem in no hurry to do.

  • DR400 cannot takeoff with MTOW unless you mess with the engine.cfg
  • DR400 with 50% fuel load requires mixture leaning at sea level to climb with more than 100ft/min and beyond a max ceiling of 2500ft MSL from sea level field
  • Savage Cub ignition key still misprogrammed and labelled as battery master (probably same for XCub)
  • Cruising speeds in level flight of small GA aircraft not going beyond white arc with cruise power setting
  • cockpit panels covered with INOP labels (Cubs)
  • airspeed indicators varying from km/h to mph to KIAS while altimeter is inHg throughout

I agree with all of that. Also #DX12 support.
