New sim update 1.16.2.0 is not downloading. Stuck with 1.14.5.0 Why?

Hi,

the title says it all. When checking for updates my software does not find anything :frowning:
Any idea why my sim is not updating to 1.16.2.0?

It found a smaller update of approx. 540 MB today, but not the new 1.16.2.0.

Have you looked in the Microsoft store for an update before loading?

Hi, thanks for your reply. When I start the store and search for the game I can only click “Start” for it but I do not have the “Update” button anywhere. Any idea?

In the store have you clicked the three dots and then selected download and updates then click get updates.
If that doesn’t work then try signing in and out the store or reset the Microsoft store.

Update wouldn’t show for me in the store but when loading the sim it forced me to the store and then it did start downloading an update.

I tried your suggestion in the store but no updates where found.

Its working now. The Windows OS Update Blocker was active. I did not know that it is also blocking Games.
