Turn of ai traffic and try again worked for me
suppose but doesnt fix the mapping issues im having with t.flight stick x

Hard to turn off AI traffic when it freezes before even getting to the main menu…Lol
No. I had several CTD when starting the sim, however, after a restart it suddenly worked then. Happened like 3 times, but in-sim, no crashes whatsoever. I still don’t feel good with this update. Want SU4 back.
From not having a CTD before to multiple crashes per day with SU5…

I can live with downgraded graphic and some stutters but cant play with CTDs and Mcfreeze all day.
might be a dumb question but bear in mind first ever gaming laptop i ever owned was now for flight sim 
, but whats all this fly by wire i keep hearing about ?
McFreeze is a good name, we should vote names, maybe it will make them (MS/Asobo) show face.

When most people here refer to Fly By Wire, they’re referring to a modding group which made an enhancement/fix version of the A320 for the sim.
In a broader aviation sense “fly by wire” means an aircraft where the flight control surfaces are moved by motors activated by electronic signals, rather than a traditional “mechanical” system where the control surfaces are moved by cables and hydraulics.

No. It’s an add-on you would have to install. If you haven’t installed it you can disregard any posts from people talking about issues with it in the new update. it’s just a very popular add-on.
