Hi. I am not new to sim, but new to the MS Community Forum. I love flying and for that reason I would like to contribute by sharing game information and also report new bugs or issues. Together we can help make the sim better!

Iām not new to flight simulating but new to forums.
Iām using MSFS2024. Iām having an issue with the use of the mouse within the cockpit view. I cannot use the mouse to control buttons or knobs if I place the mouse hand cursor directly over the object I would like to control. To control anything with the mouse, I have to place the cursor off of the item by like an inch to be able to control that item. Really weird and extremely frustrating. Please helpā¦

Dear All, hello! Marco here from Porto, Portugal. I have been simming since the creation of MS FSX, and I love it. I am completely new to MSFS 2024 and still trying to figure out the basics.
I am also completely new to this forum, and I would like to report a bug (BRH), but I cannot add a new topic - icon/tab is not showing. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

The reason you cannot report a bug is that you currently are at Trust Level 0 (New Member)
Have a look at this topic that explains how you can advance to higher trust levels and so report a bug in the Bug Reporting Hub
There is lots of other useful information in the Forum Navigation section that you might like to read to help increase your trust level.

Hello, Iām PALE. Iām a newcomer to Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Iām dedicating my time to mastering the aircraft I find most interesting: the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, the Boeing 737 MAX, and the Vision Jet. Iām enjoying the process of learning the systems and flight characteristics of each, and exploring the world from a personal perspective. Iām here to learn and appreciate the simulation.

I am currently playing Microsoft light simulator 2024 on a PC through Xbox subscription.
I am trying flight simulation because Iāve always wanted to be a pilot all my life but now Iām too old and too broke.
Right now Iām most interested in learning all about MSFS 2024 and itās workings.
I was on the old forum last year when I started back to flying. I got caught up reading all the negative posts about MSFS 2020 and trying to make it work on my own desktop. Then I decided to take a few months sabbatical to see if my problems were cleared up by the big bad MS 2024. Some of these problems took too much time to deal with so I just waited for a new issue tof the program.
I am so happy that I waited and did not get burnt out on trying to make that last one work. So far this simulator has been the best Iāve ever seen and used. I have had some minor problems but nothing Google, coming back here to read, and my own God given common sense couldnāt figure out!

Thatās a fantastic suggestion! I truly appreciate you providing that link. Iām always eager to learn more about aircraft systems and flight characteristics. Iāve already explored the manuals for a wide range of aircraft, and I even specifically checked for the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, the Boeing 737, and the Vision Jet, but unfortunately, I couldnāt find manuals for those particular models. However, Iām excited to explore the resources in the link you shared and see what other aircraft manuals are available. Thank you very much for your help!

Greetingsā¦Iāve been simming for a few years. Three 44 inch duagonal monitors , Bravo throttle and Saitek products for all the rest. Hard disk crash meant replacement as well as a new mother board and upgraded memory. All reset but two significant problems persist. Right Alt produces the looking glass but clicking the mouse does not produce a drop/drag screen to relocate to one of the 11.5 panel. Too, under general/experimental adding the port and starboard screens doesnt work. I get two black screens like the added screens from a browser. Im not sure if Iāve done the right thing here by posting this way do tell me uf i screwed up.
