Asobo have just put an overlay showing an XBOX controller/button map over the lower part of the splash screen shown when loading an airport start situation. I dont want to look at this, I don’t want to know about the XBOX. Can one of you experts let me know how to revert to the plain splash screen please.?

I see this has annoyed others besides me !..Looks like a barmy idea by some “bright spark”…at least my Sim works OK
Guess what…the annoying overlay has disappeared ! MSOBO has been watching the Forum.
Must have been an error…hurrah !
I think they’ve been testing some stuff lately, because the splash screen that used to pop up when launching the sim came back for one day last week before disappearing again.
that may well be true…the dyslexic digit strikes again !

When we bring up a simple unliked topic like this, in a visible community area, it seems to get pushed down here where it will be lost in the deep…hummmmm
Like I kept telling everybody, it goes away after a while. It doesn’t mean MSOBO has been watching the forum nor that they changed anything in the code. If you were to start over with a clean new profile it would probably come back.
