New to FS2020 and just installed it

I have some Q concerning the setup, I think:

  1. How can I get rid of these XBOX/AI Studio/BlackShark splash screens when FS starts up ?
  2. After checking for updates it shows what it HAS updated earlier - I’ve seen it 100’s times now - how to avoid that too ?

To skip the videos, do the following:
Right click on desktop and select “New” then “Shortcut” and enter this:
cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App “-FastLaunch”
Complete the shortcut wizard and you are good to go.

As far as the checking for update screen goes, we are stuck with that.
It is required, and there is nothing you can do.
All updates for MSFS are mandatory and they can’t be skipped.

Unfortunately it makes NO difference !

I tried to RUN this too:

cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App “-FastLaunch”

Still no difference !

OK, it should be:

cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App “-FastLaunch”

WHAT … I see no difference between the two strings !!!
