Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Also, its not just about what you see, the wind is an important factor often overlooked.
I was getting some pretty ugly weather on my way from VNLK to VNKT. A gridwork repeating overcast layer above me. When I landed, and went back to the map screen, you could see it there, with a very obvious repeating pattern.
I’ve been extremely disappointed with this program.
Everytime I use it I think “I’ve never seen weather like that in my entire life”
It also seems to make the clouds really poor quality and the environment really dark, almost like night time.
Anyone else seen on the StrataWx Discord that all the channels have disappeared?
Yep Same here, Discord is gone.
“Hopefully” this was an accident or the Discord got hacked, and they didn’t take the money, and run.
Lol. No issue here, I can see all the channels. As far as I know, it’s just that they made a change due to spam and now only users with the customer role can see all the channels. The new customers cannot see them until they are added to the customer role (they get a magenta name).
ah okay, and how we can join that “Customer Role”

They will add you, I didn’t have to do anything.
Nothing yet, and I have sent a direct message to their General Manager, but no word back yet.
I just found my original welcome message back on June 8th.

They posted this yesterday:
We are back in full action. We will be making some changes to the discord, formatting and the verification process to gain access. For those that already have the @Customer role, this will carry over through the changes so you will not need to verify.
Over the next hour or so you may see some oddities around the discord, channels, etc, just wanted to give everyone a heads up as we work to streamline our systems and prevent abuse.
I think I’ll hang fire in light of that.
Sign in in the portal and check if your account is active. That will probably give you the customer role automatically.
