New York Bridges

Is anyone working on bridges, I used to enjoy flying under them, now they are solid?

Some bridges in New York city are ok, but most of them look like they are built on top of a wall.

A lot of bridges appear to be built on walls. I flew around Frankfurt/Main, Germany a couple of days ago and experienced the same issues.

Part of the fun of a flight sim is to do things that you can’t in real life.

I experienced that issue, too. Wouls be nice to know if this is gonna be fixed soon. I can’t imagine this would be hard to do…

Two things that may interest you:

Can't fly under bridges

Repro: Attempt to fly under the Golden Gate bridge. Result: Aircraft crashes into invisible wall. At least you can see through hand placed bridges but all other generated bridges seem to have a solid black wall that only AI cars can pass through. Example would be the Tacoma Narrows bridge. Looks pretty ugly.

Fix photogrammetry bridges so that they are not "solid" underneath

Photogrammetry is great. However, there is a problem with bridges in photogrammetry areas where the bridges are not only solid, but they look solid underneath. They have the appearance of a wall across the water. I don’t know if this is fixable as presumably it relates to how photogrammetry works, but can we see if the visual look of photogrammetry bridges can be changed so that they at least appear as though they are not solid walls underneath?
