Newark Liberty (KEWR) needs new aerial. Taxiway & AI aircraft intersect with Terminal A

Yes

Brief description of the issue:

I started to work on KEWR airport in the World Hub until I realized that it is very, very out of date with the opening of the new terminal, terminal A, in 2023. With the World Hub closing in August 2024, it would be better that a new aerial be applied and the system that auto-generates airports take a pass over it.

  • The old terminal A building (located at 40.687535, -74.182406), is still standing, but it is now vacant. Aircraft do not park there any longer.
  • The new terminal A building (located at 40.683909, -74.186637), is available in Bing, and has aircraft parking at it now.
  • The old taxiways A and B, which used to wrap around the old terminal A, have been paved over, and now, the southern parts of taxiways A and B parallel runways 4L-22R and 4R-22L.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

I have circled two taxiways in red, A and B, that are different than what they are in the sim. However, that entire area near the old terminal A (labeled “AMELIA” in the diagram) needs to be redone, which is why this is more appropriate for an aerial fix and airport regeneration than a World Hub fix.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Not easy to repro in the sim because you need to see how the taxiways are labeled. (Not impossible, but easier to do with developer tools.) Instead,

  1. Download KEWR in the World Hub and open it, or if you’re a developer for the team, simply open up the airport in whatever tool you have.
  2. Observe taxiways A and B, near terminal A.

Expected result:
They should extend all the way down towards where the threshold of runway 4L is.

Observed result:
They wrap around the old terminal A.

  1. Taxi to where the new terminal A is (40.683909, -74.186637).

Expected result:
The new terminal A has aircraft parked around it.

Observed result:
The new terminal A does not exist.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

I first noticed it in 1.37.19.0, however the issue has been going on since 2023, when the terminal opened.

Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

In MSFS 2024, the taxiway to the north of Terminal A (A9?) intersects the building. AI aircraft will pass through the terminal. See screenshot below.
