Newbie basic questions

Issue #1
As installed MFS taxes my GPU system a lot. Using Task Manager I can see that CPU and Memory seem OK but the GPU is pegging 100% and will continue to do so until replaced in a couple of weeks.

It takes about two to three minutes to load MFS so stopping and starting is a PITA.

Is there a way to put the MFS program into some sort of ‘suspension’ so that it does not impact other running programs in the system? Think EXCEL – when minimized it does nothing except occupy memory.

Issue #2
And now to the keyboard mapping questions. During the ‘training’ missions are most of the keyboard keys not functional? When I try to relinquish control with CTRL+ALT+X nothing happens. Could this be due to the GPU being overloaded?

About your first issue, can’t help you, say you pc specs and maybe someone could provide some tips.
About second issue, maybe that’s because you are in training, some functions probably will be blocked until you progress your training.
Since I have more than 1000 hours on X-Plane and lot more on fsx I don’t try the training lessons in msfs 2020, but I believe that some functions will be blocked there until you progress thru the lessons.

I don’t think MSFS has any “suspension” mode built-in, it’s probably possible on the OS level but I have no clue how tbh.
For the second issue I believe the Autopilot and Co-pilot functions are disabled on purpose because you are supposed to fly manually for your training so it’s normal.
