I am brand new to the forum, and I am a returning user. Just joined recently, my question is when can I post questions? I have tried to start new thread, but all I get is the red round circle with a line through it.

Yes but can not start one where I want, I am thinking after I post somewhere/here I can start asking questions
Yes, but he is right about the âNo Entryâ sign when trying to use the Start New Thread button is showing when I try & use it too.
This forum is not the most user friendly to navigate or post on, compared to every other one I use.
It needs a proper content list and menu.

I agree about user friendly. This forum has so many buttons and widgets compared to most.
I think I was trying to post in the 3 sections up top that are what I call Stickyâs, or just there to read only. give me time I will figure it out, LOL. maybe
Yeah, stickys may well be locked.
From what I can gather, you have to drill right down to an individual topic before the âNew Postâ button becomes available. It is a truly awful forum to navigate.
EG the tags Community /All wonât let you create one, but Community/General Discussion & Feedback will allow it
Hi there,
You can post in any subcategory except for #community:news-and-announcements and #self-service:resolved-bugs. Each category has a specific purpose, so try to post in the correct place, if you do end up in the wrong category, we can always move it later
One other thing, you probably canât post in top level categories such as âCommunityâ, âFlyingâ or âAircraftâ. You should be posting in the subcategories.
Edit: I am not sure if you can post in #guides.

There is a tier system as to what one can do in the forum. But you should now be able to click new topic and get going anytime you want to ask something.
