NG Embraer Bandeirante for FS2024 Working?

Got an email advising a redownload of this plane from Just Flight, as it has been upgraded to run in FS2024.

I put it into the Community folder for 2024, but it isn’t showing up in the sim - has anyone got theirs working?

I haven’t got the updated version yet. I made my original purchase on Marketplace. The plane shows up and works fine. There is a problem if you use the mouse to operate the parking brake. No issue with keybind working it.

Hmm, I’m thinking maybe I have to do something besides just put it into the Community folder - maybe a setting in the sim for using 3rd party products, if that’s officially permitted yet.

At least it does work in 2024, then.

I have 3rd party planes I moved from 2020 to 24’s Community folder and they all show up. Some don’t work well but they show up.
Sure your using the right folder?

EMB-110 FOR MSFS v1.6.3 RELEASED

The EMB-110 v1.6.3 is now available for download!
It is live now on Simmarket, Just Flight and iniBuilds.

Marketplace users must patiently wait since this depends on how fast Microsoft can process the update, especially now that we’re close to the Christmas holidays. Trusting God, it should be available before Christmas, but if it doesn’t arrive on time, don’t worry because the update will be released after their (MSFS MP team) return in January.

The changelog can be found here: EMB-110 Bandeirante v1.6.3 Released!. Please review it because this update addresses forward compatibility with MSFS 2024.

IMPORTANT!!
As always, for PC users, make sure you have both the <@783383743473647646> GTN750 and the <@840656522295115847> GTNXI Pro up to date, to avoid issues with the GPS. For MSFS2024 users on PC, the PMS50 GTN750 is available on that platform, just download the respective package from the PMS50 website. For Xbox users, the GTN750 instrument bundled does not have support for 2024’s in-sim EFB’s flight plan syncing because the package bundles the 2020 instrument.

Yes, I’ve been using the right one. Not only did I check with the info on the website, but I also used the in-sim config to check where it was, opened it in the sim and found it wasn’t even seeing the plane.

I’ll check again tomorrow - it’s definitely where it should be, but I reckon something else is not right with it. It’s only a zipped folder as downloaded from Just Flight, so no installer stuff involved.

Yes. It was transfered automaticly to 2024 XBox system and works fine.

So you did the UNZIP…right? You have to check the folder structure once you have, move the folder that shows layout and manifest files to community folder.

Well just to say I have plenty of experience of flight sim and add-ons and usually know what I’m doing - though as I’m getting on a bit I do sometimes make pretty dumb mistakes.

However, the problem is that, while FS2024 library shows the Bandit folder in the community folder when opened from inside the sim, it doesn’t seem to actually load the model.

I’ll start by downloading again and see what happens. Everything looks as it should be, but who knows…

Okay - still not showing. I also have some Neofly objects that were installed to the community folder using the program installer, and they are not showing up, either - so something not quite right.

I just got the patches for the FSW models, so I’m hoping this isn’t a bug - I’ll try them anyway.

The easiest way to find it for your personal installation is to open the sim, go to the Marketplace page and click on the “Library” tab at top left.
