I’ve been a vocal critic – one who’s expectations were sorely missed at launch and up to this point. But the way this product has been snapped into shape I have to say it is now a very strong simulator with a rightful spot in the market. This is mostly because of the last sim update where they fixed the numbers switches/knobs broken in SU5.
Keep in mind, that since I tend to prefer airline/IFR flight, the FlyByWire A320NX is very much responsible for making this a good sim for my needs.
If they were to sort out the ATC issues that would really be a huge step in the right direction. As I say that, note I don’t expect a full ATC system. But I would really, really like it if I could file a flight plan that ATC recognizes without having to keep going back to the main menu.
I personally would like to do turn around flights, where you fly from point A to B, and then program a flight plan and pre-flight to destination C.
And to the folks behind the A320NX, my hat is off to you all. It is a fine piece of work, and a great thing for this community.
