Can someone please let me know how to fix this problem as I like night time flying but it is not very interesting with the washed out look everywhere.
Try the nightmode setting in the postprocessing part in the OXR Toolkit. It does wonders. But don’t forget to turn it off (or use other post processing setting) when flying in daylight.
Thanks…I’ll let you know how it goes.
Where exactly is the night-mode setting in the post-processing part in the OXR Toolkit…how do I access it?
well just look around a bit once you’re in-flight. I don’t know exactly out of my head, but there’s those 3 settings for sunglasses…light, dark and night-time …something along those lines.
Are you referring to the pop up menu available in OXR Toolkit…I forgot the keyboard shortcut for opening the menu.
i have no idea what use the Toolkit would be without the pop up menu
So, yes, obviously i’m referring to the ingame menu of the Toolkit. To define the keyboard shortcut, you run the toolkit app while in windows and select the shortcut (or refresh your memory of it).
Thanks it’s been a long time since using it…I’ll check it out.
Yes indeed it all came back to me…I forgot about this app. It really changed my G2 experience not only for the night time which is great, very clear now, but also I enhance the vibrancy, contrast and coloration just to name a few and it is night and day no pun intended. This app does much more than what the Nvidia control panel should have been able to do but doesn’t.
I read complaints everywhere about the G2 because it’s LCD is all washed out but this app changes all that. Everyone should know about this.
Thanks again.
