• Yes

• I assume this is a side effect of fixing display of numbers for locales that use the dot instead of comma as the separator, which resulted in rounding using dot assuming it is a decimal point and all numbers to become in the range of 0-999. I am happy to tolerate comma-less numbers while they work on a better fix if that means people out there can actually see the numbers in question and not just the first 1-3 digits.

Correct, which is why the International Bureau of Weights and Measures decided more than twenty years ago that the correct seperator for those groupings would be an empty space, as to not have those confusing conflicts.

15 100 000,99 with a comma in countries like Norway or Germany, or
15 100 000.99 with a decimal point in countries like the UK or USA.

So yeah, please change large numbers for better readability, but don’t use commas, or dots, or I’ve even seen apostrophes being used. Use either a Thin Space or a Narrow No-Break Space as is correct and proper.

I would love to see this come back, and I assume it does. Taking the user’s locale into consideration would be appreciated

• I have noted this is all over career. Planes also do not show commas in their price.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

After update 1.2.8.0 all commas have been removed from strings of numbers greater than 999 on both Xbox and PC. This has made it very difficult to read prices of aircraft, altitudes, etc.

This still hasn’t been fixed yet guys. it’s super annoying to read numbers without commas or decimals (depending on what country you’re from)
CAN WE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS
its a simple fix

I think this was fixed in beta. When I got passive income window today I was suprised to see spaces between numbers.

Can confirm that this is fixed in the SU1 beta update, very happy to see that

lets hope so, idk why this needs to go into beta. this should have been a hot fix

That’s better, but still going to be super annoying not having commas as separators. Unless they have localized it to account for the differing formats around the world?

As I already explained above, spaces and not commas are the correct separators of those groupings as set by the BIPM more than twenty years ago.
If you live in one of the member states and use anything but spaces, you’re officially doing it wrong.

I’m glad I’m not trying to nitpick how official I’m being if and when I’m playing this glorified game, so my opinion still stands. There are far too many things in this sim intentionally not made 110% true to life to think this issue must be.
