Hi I have tried everything but when I try to assign elevator (not trim) to the joystick, it is not an option. Not even in the list. Any help?
Make sure to switch from “assigned” to “all” on the left-hand side. I’d then recommend using the search as you’ll find far too many possible things to map!
SO i have the same joystick, and it works fine… are you saying that you cannot use the joystick to go up and down ?
Hi @TalorSwifty. Could I ask, what sensitivity settings do you have? No matter which I try I can’t get anything resembling a usable response from mine. At first it doesn’t respond and then suddenly responds far too strongly making take-off impossible. Thanks!
Let’s try to walk you through this. Firstly, I don’t have any Thrustmaster software installed; I only use the Windows configuration, and the mappings in FS2020. I predominantly fly the TBM and this is my configuration.
Start by recalibrating your joystick using the “Set up USB Game Controllers”
You can confirm the calibration in the Properties window:
Once this is done you can double-check the setup in the game:
