did a flight to LEPA yesterday.

METAR was low visibility with fog. even ATC told me that airport is IFR.

but at approach there was no fog and visibility was unlimited

friday fog was missing in Venice too

Me to no fog in the Channel Isles this morning.

I would agree. Fog is fundamentally absent in the morning or due to rain. Fog simply doesn’t exist in any form.

I can confirm that too. No fog in the Sim even though the metar states fog.

Can replicate with locations where fog is reported in the Metar.

Wondering if a SU5 Beta regression or also happens in the Live version ?

for others who did same flight same time in live version there was fog. so i think it is a su5 issue

How come this does not have some bug logged tag on it ?

There is simply no fog/haze whatsoever !

Yeah can confirm, loaded ZYHB in SU4 and then again in SU5, the low visibility was completely missing. Still happening in today’s update, 1.7.16.0

From a couple of days ago but just been able to post. Metar has no fog marker but indicates less than 1nm visibility. Those low hills clearly visible in the distance (left of centre) are about 30 miles away!

I was hoping for fog and lower visibility conditions outside of metar areas. Now we don’t have it even in the metar area :joy:

Hopefully this will be fixed before going live.

Yeah! Same here, I was hoping for better interpolation, haze and fog layer both, based on actual humidity in the air which the Sim is capable of. Now we have none. Weather is probably the most important aspect of any flight simulator. Hope they pay more attention to it and get it fixed.

So, fog inside METAR coverage seems to be back. I am not sure if it just me, but it looks better than before.

Now if only we could have such things outside METAR areas, that would be GREAT !
