No Going back its 2020 or bust

Just reloaded FSX onto my new MSFS2020 gaming computer.

Remember the promise – once the Computer hardware caught up, FSX would take on a new life !!!

After 4 weeks “messing” with MSFS2020, and then going back to look at FSX (all slider at max) … there is no going back to FSX/P3D

Kind of knew that, but I had not fired up FSX since Microsoft closed it down… so I only had fond memories of how good it seemed at the time…

so … “Hello Boys … I’m Back” !!!

I’m confused. Are you going back to FSX or saying FSX at max sliders is so bad that there’s “no going back”??

I know the feeling. Just watched some vids of P3D and FSX, wow…even with max settings and addon scenery…those look TRASH compared to FS2020. And this is a stock sim hahaha

So I am confused so do you use FSX or P#D or both? I deleted FSX when P3d went 64 Bit and I am now using p3D v 5 with Dx 12.

If you are saying you won’t be going back to a 13 year old software then that is what I would expect when comparing 2007 v 2020 software.

I won’t be deleting P3D v5 as MSFS 2020 is still way too limited in terms of fuctions.

Yes … you are 100% right.

I use to fly with FSX & P3D up to the time the FSX team was let go from Microsoft, flew using P3D for a bit, tried Xplane etc etc … but FS was taking up too much time in my life, and since it was difficult to cut back (I was the one running FS-MP), I went “Cold Turkey” – turn it all off, and went back to a life.
Was tempted when MSFS 2020’s release was announce, and after 8 odd year, decided to check it out… trying VERY HARD not to go back to the Addiction !!

I fly in RL, so the Sim is more of Technical Interest…( as you might have realized if you have read any of my Forum Posts)
