You never know when Asobo is going to get strict on things. It’s best to not have dangling files, IOW, have FS looking for things that aren’t there.
It’s happened before. Way back Asobo got strict about manifest.json structure and everyone wondered why their addons disappeared after a update. Turned out commas were missing, and Asobo started requiring them.
