No ground services anywhere

If I remember correctly ENMH is one of the airports who make my marshaller etc disappear.

Yes but currently that one is fine, thanks
I removed some in France and Italy and currently not having issues, fortunately
Not sure if they get fixed but not interested at all in finding out as I hardly flew there.

Good to find this topic…I have similar issue on Xbox X. I just bought and installed the MSFS, didn’t install any 3rd party airports or environments yet. All settings are default as well. I didn’t check every single airport, but for some big airports like EGLL, KJFK, EDDF, I don’t have the ground services at all. Dose anyone has such experiences? Thanks in advance!

Hi, that’s odd being everything default…
I could not tell because it is usually the third party add-ons which tent to cause problems.
I hope someone else can provide some guidance

Cheers
Carlos

A quick update. I have checked the settings. It seems the AI traffic is Live Traffic by default, I changed it to Offline AI Traffic. Then I can see the ground services, I only tested in EGLL yet.

But that makes no sense. It should work with Live traffic too

 Doesn’t make sense indeed… I changed back to Live Traffic, ground service is still there. I also switched off some Assistance options. Maybe related to that??

I have had flight sim premium deluxe disc version successfully working since I purchased it in 2020 on a PC . I have NOT purchased airport addons. About 6 weeks ago after a standard FS update which ''stuttered on download" two major problems occurred, 1.I had some aircraft where you could not see out the cockpit due to a chequered effect, basically cockpit screen replaced by solid chequered colours AND some aircraft had some external chequering. This I cured by removing, as directed in various FS blogs, all folders starting with fs-base-??? in the packages folder, in my case in “C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content\Packages” yes I use a PC NOT xbox! When I restarted FS it automatically repaired the folders, but the I lost all my ground staff and vehicles (some not all air bridges work). Will this rather complicated solution work for me to cure it? Surely after so long MS must have rectified it by know. Clearly the issue was caused by an MS FS update that lost some of the files from the PC. Reluctant to do this cure as I suspect it will leave some bugs, so a complete reinstall may be the answer. Tried it once since and it doesn’t ask for any discs to be reinstalled and took only 20 minutes…I’m baffled and frustrated! I feel over £120 wasted!

First, you need to confirm that this is the issue.
Have you taken the first step of trying with an empty community folder?

yes i hjave

Do you have any MSStore addons, if so, have you tried the sim in Safe Mode?
If the issue is still occurring, you could try a re-install.

If you are going that route, cut and paste your community folder outside of the MSFS file structure.
Uninstall the sim from the Windows start menu, (right click on Microsoft Flight Simulator and select uninstall).
Delete all remaining folders after the uninstall.

Restart PC and install sim.
After the sim is up and runing, if all is OK, add your addons back to your new community folder a few at a time, trying the sim after each batch for this issue, until you have them all back in.

I can confirm that in my case it was an installed third party airport: New Madeira scenery from ATLEIC - removed it and all ground services are back. I wrote the developer.

I’m afraid you are right
This configuration causes the traffic not to work worldwide

I hope they fix it

I received this answer from the devs:

"egarding your issue, the temporary solution is below, a permanent one will come in future update.

Remove the contents of the Airport Services folder, and delete the services.spb entry in layout.JSON as shown below. - note that the “date” may be different.

{ “path”: “AirportServices/airport-lpma-madeira/LPMA/Services.spb”,
“size”: 558,
“date”: 133736702157885134
