No headset detected, worked before

I haven’t played vr for a while, since march but it used to work great, I reinstalled msfs and have the oculus 2 connected properly with vr desktop and C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json in my runtime, when i push ctrl+ tab , it shows no headset found, do ! have to change something because of updates, since the last time I played?

C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json

Does anyone think maybe because it was updated to windows 11 since then? maybe it’s not recognizing the runtime path now? ANYONE please help.

Sorry, i don’t use my quest 2 with msfs so my experience is limited.
Have u tried uninstalling the oculus software and then reinstalling it again?
Edit: i just read in this thread that oculus software is not win 11 compatible yet

Not a Quest user either, but if you are using Virtual Desktop maybe Steam VR runtime is the one you need?

By the way, if you do want to use Oculus runtime, use Air Link instead.

Us rift s users have to unplug usb…then plug it back in.

Thank you for responding guys, I reverted back to windows 10 with no success, I will try the other options you mentioned.

Thank you!

Using airlink was the trick!

But now my mouse pointer does not interact with anything in the cockpit.

Also for some reason, its keep starting me in the middle of a road somewhere when I try to start the Nevada bush trip at the starting airport.

You need the beta version of the game that fixes the mouse problem, or press Ctrl-0 as a workaround.

The bush trip is probably starting from a previous crash point. You may have to delete the save file. I forgot where it is but you can find the info in the forum.
