No Internet - Warning your packages are out of date

Mine are, too, but I thought it was my fault.

I downloaded some new weather presets this morning (at least I thought they were new, turns out I already had them), but when I installed them, I put them in the wrong place, resulting in having those files duplicated within the overall FS2020 file structure. I got the same “your packages are out of date” error, but as soon as I deleted the duplicate files, it went away, making me think I did it when perhaps it was just a coincidence.

But so did my logbook. I figured I had broken it by “messin’ where I shouldn’t a been messin’”, but maybe it was just a coincidence of timing.

It’s not that I care all that much about my logbook being accurate, it’s not like I can use that time towards ratings or anything aside from bragging rights, I suppose, but it did add an interesting touch of flavoring to the sim in general.

Now that I’m not the only one with the problem, and it seems like I didn’t cause it (I thought maybe I accidentally deleted my logbook file(s) when deleting the duplicate weather presets, but when I checked, there was nothing that wasn’t a legit weather preset that I deleted), hopefully it’ll come back at some point.

If not, meh, not that big of a deal. It hasn’t been terribly accurate to date anyway, with flights missing, getting credit for hours flown when the sim was paused, and takeoffs and landings that for some reason never got counted. Probably other errors that I just didn’t notice, or that didn’t apply to me for whatever reason, too. So if it does return, I hope it’s accurate and brings my old stuff back, too.
