No Internet - Warning your packages are out of date

Same in UK

I’m having the same issue.
Steam user, all mods removed.
No VR, no Reverb, no other gadgets/widgets.

Does not seem like regional issue - I’m in Israel.

Same here since today, last night I had no issues. No mods installed, steam user.

Sims started by saying no internet connection, then it said my packages are out of date and asked me to return to the start screen (which I did)
Now it just stuck on the start screen. when i ā€˜ā€˜click any button’’ it takes me to the hanger for a very short period (5 secs) then reloads the start screen?

Sim has been running fine recently. this has happened within the hour.

Yes my internet connection is fine, before people ask the obvious.

same here… any ideas?

Hi.

Since one hour, my FS2020 launches ( steam version) but after launch, I havn’t update research anymore and when I’m in menu, no shop and servers are in automatic but nothing happens and it’s impossible to launch a flight: That’s saying : ā€œno internet connectionā€.
I must add that my ā€œcommunityā€ folder is absolutly empty

Help needed please !

Same issue here as well! At first lost connection while on the menu screen. Rebooted the game, still did not have connection but it told me my packages are out of date and to sign in again. I clicked ā€œYesā€ and now am stuck in an endless loop. I rebooted the game and tried again just now (after that message) and am once again stuck in an endless loop. Clean install of the game here – nothing in the community folder.

Ok for all you summers out there that have issues with start up not happing, I had the same issues today tried 4 /5 times it just would not boot up only after realising I had dropped a new third party scene folder in to my folder, after removing all was good, I’m not saying it is the same for everyone just before you start a fresh install check what you have downloaded over the past couple of days.

Ok it’s an external problem they need to fix. Glad to know its not only me. I’ll go back to XP11 for a while. I hope this does not become a ā€œflight simulator repair simulatorā€ rather than a flight simulator. I want to fly, not fix problems. Thx.

Same in France !

I wonder why MS is not going to announce servers planned or unplanned maintenance as the pinned message on the forums.
Instead hundreds/thousands of users waste hundreds/thousands of hours of their collective time to try to investigate on their end?
Is there any 7/24h monitoring team in place?
MS is proud of having millions of users, a product of this scale with central component should have the monitoring system/team in place, don’t you think (no matter it’s just a game).
If MS has any respect to the customers…

I agree, there should be a central infopoint where we can see actual server issues. Especially if the error messages make you think something is wrong on your end instead of being a server issue.
