Taxi lights also only work at night

At daytime taxi lights are off, which is wrong

This bug still exist on fs2024 Su4 beta

As far as I remember this issue appeared on MSFS 2020 at a point Asobo masked airports to not appear outstanding bright and flashy from within high altitudes due to aircraft lights scaling badly (somewhere between SU4 and SU7 I guess).

Maybe for MSFS 2024 it would be a good idea to remove this kind of masking as lights now scale realistically in comparison, so they won’t be as visible on passive and multiplayer aircraft from above.

As a MSFS2020 user, I can tell you that—I don’t remember which simupdate it was—currently the lights on AI models (like AIG, etc.) work perfectly both day and night until the plane touches down. As soon as it touches down, everything goes off, leaving only the anti-collision and logo lights visible. On FS2024 SU4, I noticed that everything works fine at night, even when the planes touch down, but during the day, everything is off. It’s a real shame, because this problem could have finally been solved, but instead it was only partially resolved.

This needs a task force and final fix by Asobo. AI’s missing light when on ground issues exist since the beginning of msfs more than 5 years ago. 5 years and a problem that could never be imagined in former FS2004/FSX times. It’s sad to see that such an apparently small bug hasn’t been properly addressed yet. I ask Asobo to take responsibility and fix this in MSFS2024, it’s super relevant for immersion.

You’re right, my friend! These things are unbearable for those used to a flight simulation, and they represent the basis anyway. I mean, there’s no point in having a super-simulated plane when you then get lost in this nonsense. Moreover, coming from msfs2020, where the lights were a disaster, as they no longer worked when the plane was on the ground, in 2024 they work almost 100% fine at night, but they’ve completely disappeared during the day. But ■■■■, is it possible to make mistakes like this? It seems like a joke. But what amazes me are the msfs users. If so many had complained, I’m 100% sure Asobo would have solved the problem, but here people are thinking about their avatar’s clothes, so
 where are we going?

I find it astounding that after 4 years this issue still exists - in a completely different sim! Crazy.
