My experience with this is they don’t show up if in an add-on that’s not owned so it’s directly linking to the add-ons but is a big issue in sense of that’s all the group flights groups being affected and a massive regression over the model matching chaos that was before

Can confirm this flew past Wellington earlier and a player called genisusnzaa was sitting there in the Fenix a320 which I do not own saw his nametag and that was it no plane nothing the model matching we had before at least would give us a default something in its place so this is a regression
In the SU4 beta they are doing things, now with high fidelity option in settings, the aircraft that you don´t have appear also with a generic plane matching the plane or close, not invisible anymore.
The two online A320 V2 that I watched yesterday were with two different liveries, Spirit and easetJet (I don´t know if default V2 liveries or ones from marketplace that I own), that is new since the FS24 launch, I had always the same A320 V2 first livery that appear in the aircraft configuration, never watched two different liveries in that plane. Few online planes still in SU4 beta to tell about other aircraft.
Edit: I remember an online 407 a pair of days ago, and it was blue…, so it was not the black-orange first livery, maybe it is more corrected for all default planes, yes, excellent.
Edit2: Yep, this is working well or better, yesterday I found an A330-300VIP with the default Brussels Airlines, and a 737 Max passengers with a livery that I didn´t watched before, happy, thanks.
