No option to "discard changes" in MSFS 2024 setting controls?

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: In the Settings Control, there is no option to discard changes - the only option seems to be “ESC Save and back” or “Reset to Default”.

If I mess up a bunch of settings and want to discard them how do I do that without losing my earlier saved settings ?

Need button to discard changes and back. A very basic request - not sure why such a simple and obvious option does not exist.

Filling bug for this issue as this has been discussed below as well (but no bug filed).

Terrible decision.
I can’t figure out how I can get out of settings WITHOUT saving ?

Unfortunately, I could only close the FS2024 window - then reboot - 5 minutes to not save

I am assuming it is going to be argued that this is not a bug but rather it should be a wishlist item. However, some features are so obviously essential in ANY software that omitting them is simply incomprehensible. To have to “wish” for something like this makes zero sense and will be VERY irritating if that is the route that gets followed.

This from somebody who has always been a staunch supporter and who has pretty much always written positive comments on both 2020 and 2024.
