No peripheral vision in Oculus Rift

The VR in the Oculus Rift is quite good except for the fact that I have no peripheral vision. There’s this black blind that prevents me from seeing the side with the corner of my eye even when moving my head. I turned off the setting in the Oculus tool so I wouldn’t see the black template, but apparently it’s still there. Any idea how to fix that?

Try enabling the beta drivers in the oculus setup.

Thanks for the response. It was already enabled. I found that I need to go into the Oculus DebugTool.exe each time I want to use VR since it resets each time I shutdown my computer. It’s a bit better now since finding that out.
