Just a question… Why is there only rain showing on glass surfaces, but not on the metal, like the wings or the body of the aircraft?

They are, you just have to wait for it to get cold and freeze, then you’ll see them…;p
Yes, I know I can see Ice. But there should be visible drops at least when on ground I guess…or well, they should be visible on the body too I guess. Are water invisible when not freezing exept when on a glass of some kind?
Guessing it would kill performance too much and be heavy to implement for every aircraft (extra textures), especially if 3rd parties were expected to do it too. Not really worth it unless it could be done automatically by the engine without too much overhead but I doubt it’s possible.
Not to mention, the rain you do see isnt on your windshield, its between the panes of glass that make up the virtual windshield. I wasnt seeing it for awhile and someone reminded me about turning up windshield effects, turned them back on a flew a couple of flights, then I remembered why I turned em off in the 1st place ;p
