Yes - although this specific bug report is impacting 3rd party developer utilities interacting with the sim via Sim Connect API.
Brief description of the issue:
When trying to complete two sectors (flight to an airport and back), when the player returns to the first departing airport (such as EGNT > EGPH > EGNT), there is no traffic at the return airport (EGNT), and ground services fail to work with popular third party tools such as FSLTL / GSX Pro.
Reading a lot of forum posts here and on Discord, this would appear to be an issue with Sim Connect, as the default ATC Ground Services menu option to Request Jetway connection DOES work at the return airport. However the issue impacts 3rd party tools when trying to manipulate the return airport scenery, either to spawn traffic, or interact with Ground Services. This used to work perfectly before Sim Update 12.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Issue can be replicated 100% every time with these 3rd party addons (GSX Pro (Payware) / FSLTL (Freeware)). Please let me know if I can provide a log or something to support investigation. I would provide screenshots / video if this could also support.
Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
- Install freeware addon FSLTL
- Launch a new flight
- Start FSLTL traffic injector - verify aircraft spawn at gate
- Take off and fly to a nearby airport
- Verify aircraft are spawning at gate of destination airport
- Return to orginal airport
- No third party aircraft are spawned at return airport. Addtionally if you have GSX Pro installed, this can no longer interact with Ground Services.
- (Optional GSX Pro check) Try “Operate Jetway” option. It will not work. Now try the MSFS ATC “Request Jetway” option. It will work.
