Hi all, I’ve encountered a lot of Airports around Europe with no runway lights on when coming into to land
It’s very frustrating especially after a long flight. Has this marked as a bug? Or is there a fix?
Kind Regards
Craig

Yeah I am getting very frustrated by it. I’m on Xbox series S and Europe is almost unflyable, especially in the A310 that I normally fly. PAPI lights and runway lights are never there at destination airports, even after very short flights. I’ve reported it to Microsoft in the past but it just seems to be getting worse, not better
I can take a look at it and see if I can update it. If you want to, post the airports over at my discord server. MSFS scenery project
I have modified lots of airports over on fligthsim.to and can update these airports for a future version.
Yeah it seems to be unique to Xbox, mostly on the series S which would have me thinking it’s a RAM issue. I did a short flight last night in the US and the runway lights were working when they wouldn’t have been in Europe/UK so going to try some longer ones and see how I get on
It seems quite a few issues on console can be linked to the amount of RAM. I really hope MS considers this with future versions of the XBox. I’m sure most users wouldn’t mind spending a little extra for a decent amount of memory. 32GB should be the absolute minimum these days.
Got the floating runway lights when doing longer (800 miles) flights in the US. Not sure what’s worse - floating runway lights or no runway lights. Definitely upgrading to Xbox series X when I can as apparently not as bad on that
