Ok, I just had a seemingly perfect flight.
Last time I forgot to start Oculus Debug. Apparently it must always be on?
I think the correct Start-up order (for me) seems most stable with;
- Fresh reboot of Windows PC
- With the Oculus Q2 powered “off”, turn it on, then…
- Oculus GUI should start up automatically on PC detecting headset (green lights).
- Open Debug then simply minimize to desktop leaving it and Oculus GUI open.
- Start MSFS which, if detected vr headset, I see menu option for vr. If it doesn’t, I don’t see that option at bottom of FS home menu.
- Hit Ctr-Tab and I’m in the giant FS menu in VR. Big and easy to navigate.
Simple and seems to work perfectly (so far).
