No Tower in ATC menu, no frequencies on World Map. Airports that normally have a green cross in World Map are now brown

Hi there.

I recently have this problem that I have no frequencies on the World Map for the airports nor do I have Tower in the ATC menu. I only have the no tower/Traffic options in the ATC menu.

I tried with my mods disabled and it did not help.

Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!

Try deleting Content.xml and restarting the sim.

Are you a Navigraph user?

I agree that the above screenshot indicates a problem, but I don’t think the icon color means the same thing that it does on real sectionals. In the sim and the real world, both KSIF and KBUY are uncontrolled airports. Their sectional symbols are brown, bit they’re blue (dark green?) in the sim. Maybe runway length?

Nope, never used it. It’s a paid software, right?

The two things on my mind that I can think of that could cause this problem are Neofly and the glider mod, which uses the Kinetic Assist app and LittleNavMap. Neofly is currently still installed, but Kinetic and LittleNavMap are uninstalled.

My bad then. It does appear that the blue/dark green airports in Flight Simulator 2020 all have ATC, at least in my experience.

First time I read this post, I fired up my sim and EBBR was blue/green/whatever, so there’s def. still an issue somewhere.

Yup, definitely.

I’m just going to download the ‘Official’ folder and re-install it overnight, unless there’s a better way to verify the files (I’m using Steam).

I’ll get back to this topic once that’s done.

Whatever you do, don’t try Steam’s standard “verify files” function! It will force a complete re-download.

Okay, game has been reinstalled and I am happy to confirm that there was indeed something wrong with the ‘Official’ folder. I am assuming I have either accidentally - or deliberately but forgotten - installed mods into that folder too.
