No update available in the xbox store....?

Hi, when I start the game I get the usual the game needs a mandatory update, but then when it closes theres no update showing available to download.

Any ideas?

well go to windows store and check there first, thats different than xbox store. hope this helps

I had the same, ended up de-installing and installing new. Then it hung on the update again ceause of something in the official folder which I had not deleted seperately. So I did that as well, deleted the offical folder.

Now it’s downlaoding peacefully.

I don’t bother anymore when an update has an issue with updating, I just re-install the whole MSFS. Will let it finish overnight, still needs an hour or two.

No biggie.

Yeah, the annoying thing is, i’d just done a complete new install after having to reinstall windows… every thing was perfect… now ill have to re download all the official packages again…

sadly there was nothingin there to update, I tried loggin in and out etc… like it didnt see it needed an update.

I saw the same thing when I first tried to update. I went into the Store and there was no MSFS to update. I then went into my Owned list and found everything there as it should be. I then went back to the “Downloads and updates” list and clicked the “Get updates” button. It launched three other updates, then about five seconds later, MSFS magically popped in and downloaded the initial update.

Then the looping debacle started…
