Hey guys
Decided to finnaly update today to world update 6. Launched msfs as normal then i get a message saying you must update on the Microsoft store first, then it automatically opens microsoft store.
Go into downloads and updates and Msfs is not there. So search msfs in search bar.
Only option there is to launch msfs so i press and open up. Msfs launches and sys same thing must update from microsoft store. ■■■!!!

Always in the past WORLD updates have updated through the sim not the store. Only SIM updates through the store. Never had an issue installing any update until now.
I’m having the same issue. I cannot find any way to download an update 6 because my FS is a out of date version… I have tried every way I can think of but no luck. You would think MS would have their download process as simple as a ONE click procedure. Nope.
The Xbox app is the “hub” for Microsoft’s PC gaming platform going forward. It has little to do with the console - Xbox is just Microsoft’s game brand now.
However it is, you need to install the app called “Xbox” (not the console companion app which is a different thing), open it, then return to the Microsoft store and the update will be there.
Don’t ask me why, or shout at the messenger, but I’ve helped countless people here with this and it will work.
