After the latest updated 787 don’t have the callout for takeoff (V1, Vr…) anymore.
Yep noticed that as well. If using the external view, they have the tape colored green for V1 now but they have removed the voice callout.

Since latest patch in December the B787 does not give voice callouts such as V1 during takeoff and altitude calls during landing. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

You have to manually set it up to do this in the FMC
Got a quick how to? It worked without having to do that before.
im not on game right now but i believe it is init button>takeoff> click the flap setting you want via the numbers on pad>click upper left most button on FMC> then click the 3 top ones on right side

I need to play around with this and see. After last interim update the voice callouts were working again on my first flight, but then on later flights have stopped working again.
What cdotcizl said works. Select init, takeoff, input flaps, then click on V1, VR and V2 speeds in FMC. Strange, this never used to be necessary.

Yea, I had same issue after update. I don’t know how to do much with FMC yet, but @NewfieSmokester helped me with this, so really the credit goes to him.

Interestingly this process with FMC of inputting flaps then clicking on V1, V2 and VR only works about half the time. After doing this I get voice calls for about half my flights but it is not a guarantee that voice callouts will work even after doing this…
