Hello flight simmers,
I know that thiss issue was many time discussed, but few day s ago I realized, that all airplanes in MSFS are stearing too sloww. As an example PMDG 737 if I m at self turn stand and apply full Rudder(tiller) the airplane turns very slowly and from outside wiev I can see that nose weel is skidding and AC is going straight ahead. From previous discusion I rapair in Windows setting, I have True to life set. Joystic works fine in other games. Do you have any idea what else other than reinstall?
Thanks of your comment
Hi,
Is it possible that your taxi speed is too high?
Normal 90 degree turns should be initiated at 10 knots or less. When using full deflection make sure that your speed is 5 knots or less.
Always start turning VERY gently to give the aircraft a chance to change momentum from forward movement into the turn. IRL we initially used only a slight pressure and slowly increased that pressure on the nose wheel steering tiller before actually turning it.
Consider using differential braking for the turns and if the aircraft gets too slow, advance power on the outboard side of the turn.
@Super275327 hello thaks for your advice I was real cpt on 737 I now how to taxi. But this behaviour I expect on wet RWY inven worse on contaminated rwy. For exapmple when linig up whtih speed up to 10kts when I put full deflection of “rudder” I overshoot the centerline. Another example is cessna turning on any speed is nearly impossible. But on take off when rudder is aerodinamicaly effected works fine. Any other solution?
I m not PC expert …but i suppose it has somethig in commonwith MSFS…I dont know if MSFS has friction incorprated

Check which control binding you’ve got set - there’s a separate nose wheel axis now, which should be bound and used during taxi.
Hi @SamuelCerveny ,
I didn’t know whether you had any real aviation background or not.
But I do agree that the ground friction model in MSFS is flawed. Let’s hope that a fix will come up in the future.

@Super275327 anyway thaks for you help…I hope that in next sim update I gues in august will fix it.
@LongHaulSky thanks it is keyboard or joystick bindings.?
It’s an axis binding so best if you’ve got a spare rudder axis (I use the twist on my joystick for nosewheel axis, and rudder pedals for rudder axis)
@LongHaulSky I know it was a little bit stupid question…I have Thrust master Hotas X which is quite old and have “tiller/ruder” only on throtle-so when I click on sensitivity thre are only four axis. So I need to buy rudder pedals?
@Super275327 @LongHaulSky hey friends I found solution which I somehow missed in another thread…you have to put assistance to e.g. Medium, than save and exit …restart PC and than it change back to true to life…thak for your effort happy landings
