Not AAU1: Cessna Citation Longitude Flight Dynamics Modification Project

after last update getting CTDs at beginning of flight. all is ok without this mod.

No problems with the Longitude mod here. Need more info to diagnose your problem.

Standard question: did you update it?

I have the Jan. 10 2022 version, and the 0.7.7v of G3000 , to my knowledge the latest or? I can of course be the stock base of the longitude that has the problem, never uninstalled the mods and tried.

i also have both those versions. but i downloaded the mod again and it works now.

Will try to test tonight with su9 beta

edit: did a flight from KBOS to CYHZ at FL450 and everything went fine
(shooting an ILS at 1/4sm vv002 is fun)

Did anybody manage to assign the MFD map zoom to a button? I was using the AaO key event listener, but it didn’t get anything when turning the respective knob with the mouse. I noticed in dev mode / behaviour that there is this LVAR ‘MapZoomRange, Number’ which shows the current MFD map zoom mode. I can assign a value to it, but that doesn’t change the actual zoom. I am not using the WT G3000 mod, only Darkfly’s. Any help would be appreciated.

My FLC doesn’t work anymore, It doesn’t climb and the speed goes faster than the set one.
ANyone with the same problem?

Works fine for me. Are you using the beta?

How can I check wich versione I’m using?

SU9 beta. If you have to ask then it doesn’t sound like you are. In that case I have no idea why you are having this problem. Probably need to delete and reinstall the mod.

Thank you, I will try that

I have it working but to do it you will need external software. I use FSUIPC7 in conjunction with the Mobiflight WASM module. This gives access to many more missing controls.

Thanks for the response. Good to know it is possible. Would you please tell me the Event ID FSUIPC7 is using for the MFD map zoom?

I am not sure if this is the right place for this. Please guide me accordingly but I am having major problems with landing the A/C. All good until A/P disconnect on a ILS approach. After that it floats and does not want to land, even at min appr (108 KTS).
What is the technique to getting this thing on the ground without it floating. I have the latest improvement version installed. A great A/C to fly but does not want to land!!!.

The Longitude’s wings are pretty low wich makes ground effect to be strong.
Speed is important to get right
Dont flare too much.

I’ve flown the WT/Nezz + Dakfly mod over 500 times and never had this issue. Depending on head winds, I often find it helpful to apply some down trim after APP disconnect when hand flying on short approach and landing. Better configuration for controlled flare at touch down.

Maybe make sure you’re using the correct vspeeds. Also, on approach, your profile should be almost level, and when you flare, do so to only about 3 degrees. Here are your speeds:

Weight V1/VR/V2/VFTO (TFL = Takeoff Field Length (Runway length required for TO))
24-28k, 99/103/117/185 (>4000)
28-32k, 109/112/124/185 (>4700)
32-33.5k 114/115/126/185 (>5000)
33.5-36.5k 121/122/131/185 (>5800)
36.5-39.5k 128/128/137/185 (>7100)

Weight VAPP/VREF
23.5k 113/104
25.5k 118/108
27.5k 123/112
29.5k 128/116
31.5k 133/121
33.5k 137/125

You can watch this video and see how I landed it:

For me, as others have mentioned, the key is to not flare as much as you think you might
Once you are over the runway threshold, just add a little flare but not much at all. Plus, make sure you bring the engines back to idle once you clear the threshold as well.

Sorry about that.
