Did you start cold and dark for your flight? Did you do manual start up and ensure that your generators were on? Sounds like you drained the batteries.
is there any changed in weather radar display?
I canāt see any cloud layer in v1.84 here (MSFS Live weather above RJOO, Japan)
Yeah, just a senior moment. Nerbulus, your right. Havenāt done a cold and dark start in several months. Totally forgot the generators. Maybe I should use the checklist I have printed in front of me the next time. Thanks guys.
This is from the latest release notes:
- Weather radar now displays precipitation instead of cloud coverage
No worries! I too have forgotten the generator on occasion.
Thank you very much, the lights are good again. Just tested it for a quick flight, and it looked all good to me.
This is very kind of you, by keeping this plane in such a good shape.
Actually, not yet. Still coming.
Black OPS Edition
Weather radar is not supposed to show cloud coverage
First, thanks for a great mod. I have been enjoying it greatly, until about an hour ago. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but Iām now getting 100% consistent CTDs trying to load the C700 with this mod. Taking the mod out of Community fixes the problem 100% of the time. Iām not sure if thereās somewhere to find a crash entry in the log that might be a clue as to whatās going on⦠Iād love to figure it out though and get back to flying. TIA for any help.
Which version are you using?
Firstly, thank you for a great mod!
However, I think not incrementing the version number (1.84a would be fine) is a mistake and defeats one of the their main purposes of versioning.
Many people, myself included, will have already downloaded the 1.84 version and would not realise there was an issue with it, or that there is a newer version, without seeing this post. Even the excellent version tracking system at flightsim.to (which many of us use to keep mods up to date) does not register the change and it does not even show up on their āWhat is new?ā page if you have already seen the first version.
1.84a, latest I think
Fatfingered. 1.84_xcjJl is the end of the filename.
would recommend deleting the mod, removing other mods from your community folder, reinstalling default Longitude from content manager, verifying the default works without CTD. Then reinstall the longitude mod. Then reintroduce your other mods and see if you still have crashes. I havenāt seen reports of others having this issue so I think itās a āyouā thing and not a āmeā thing.
Thanks - yeah I figure itās something on my box. The default works fine. Thereās a couple of scenery mods that crash the sim too and I know thatās not for everyone. Iāll probably whack everything but longitude and g3000 and see where to go from there.
This an example of the problem: The latest file is actually1.84_RhwlI but if you downloaded 1.84_xcjJl then flightsim.to will still tell you that you have the current version. The suffix (after the version number) is just for download purposes and is only of any use once you know there are 2 versions of the āsameā download.
Thanks for the fix, will give it a shot
Hi!
How do I install the model of this plane in the standard version of MSFS2020?
Do you have the premium version of msfs2020?
