Not AAU1: Cessna Citation Longitude Flight Dynamics Modification Project

Is anyone having trouble with the mod after the update? My engines ate struggling while climbing crossing FL200 at 280k

if you’re using live weather, theres a bug where outside temp are really high.

This was the only issue I was having… thanks for the heads up though. For any lazy pilots , my workaround was to find and bind the autostart engines (I used ctrl+e). I went through the rest of the process normally, but not knowing I had to open the fuel valve, I just used this in place of the normal startup process.

One side issue I’ve been having, which could be WT related, is that when I used any livery other than the default DF livery or the Microsoft defaults, the screens would stay dark when I turn the battery and/or ground power. Audio for the system test still played, though. Haven’t figured out the issue w/ this one yet though.

You can change the mouse interaction back to the ā€œlegacyā€ by going to General Settings/Accessibility.

When it happens, does the plane randomly jump up in altitude by a few hundred feet? After that happens does the throttle stay maxed seemingly w/o gaining airspeed? Then after a bit, does it do the jump thing again and then everything seems back to normal? If so, I think that’s a sim issue, not one w/ the Longitude.

To many problems to write about, this aircraft is a mess right now, I will park it in the hangar.
Anyway I could start it by engage magnet starter on my bravo throttle

Did you complete the update installations in the content manager for premium and deluxe editions? That seems to address a lot of problems for others.

the plane is not a mess at all…
the rest of the sim following this update is

I agree. At least with respect to the flight dynamics modifications. I’m running stock avionics (not WT 3000) and, while still early in my testing, finding no noticeable issues so far with the mod’s flight performance and handling behaviors. I think a lot of folks are getting messed up with the update because they haven’t done the complete updates both in-game (content manager - premium and deluxe) and to their add-ons.

Edit: I also did a complete reinstall due to some problems I’ve been having for months with the developer mode tools that were not fixed with anything other than a complete uninstall / reinstall. The fresh install seems to have resolved that and some graphics performance issues as well.

spot on!!! tks
another great update lol.
I wonder who does the testing there?

Steering on ground improved with your mod but slight tendency to swerve on landing.
Biggest issue is the speed and engine display in external views. Awful!
Otherwise seems to fly OK with your mod so thanks.

I just hope that one day this deluxe aircraft (so cost a lot extra!) will be given a cabin, doors that work etc etc etc.
So thanks!
Richard

Yeah, that external ā€œHUDā€ display is messed up for a lot of aircraft in the game. Hopefully the inevitable hotfix to come will address that.

Its called Sim Update 6 :cry:

Yeah, in two to three months…lol

Looking like in SU5 Asobo have replaced the old FSX original indicated airspeed scale ā€œOld Speedā€ with their own ā€œNew Speedā€ flavor of airspeed scale that substitutes some sort of mashup of calibrated airspeed and their own version of physics. This ā€œNew Speedā€ doesn’t have much impact on low and slow aircraft, and might even be a hair more accurate down low, but for high altitude high speed aircraft it starts to show some divergence from expected KIAS values when cruising near Mach 1. I don’t expect to find a solution to this…

Alright lots of issues here… WT updated and working, the mouse interaction is awful, light control buttons do not show on/off anymore, the throttle lever doesn’t move but worse of all, can’t start the engines! The engine run/stop buttons are always N/A, they don’t ā€œturn onā€ anymore and when I try to start the engine ā€œold styleā€ it goes to 25% and stays there. Fuel valve on nothing happens and fuel valve off nothing happens too.
On the plus side, I’m under the impression that the graphics are running slightly better now.

Do the deluxe and premium updates in the ā€œcontent managerā€

Read above to get the engines started. You just need to turn the fuel valve on (amber light on the right of the throttle right above the flaps). I’m not having issues w/ the lights or throttle lever and also use WT g3000 in addition to this.

I was having some issues when using a few liveries yesterday, but it’s cuz those need to be updated. As for the mouse interaction, u can change it back to the legacy way by going to general settings → accessibility. Also, DF suggested doing a fresh install of the mod, try that and make sure all of your premium/deluxe content is up to date in your content manager.

I’m having the same issues as others, No light control for the panel lights and cockpit flood lights now. Also, could not climb above FL290. All I’m running is WT and Dakfly with P2ATC in background. I have updated via content manager as well.
