Hi, first time poster. To see if my system would handle it, I put the AI slider all the way to 100. I heard ATC talking and the planes responding, but nothing in the air! I watched for a plane to land at my departure AP, one was on arrival, but saw nothing. Flew around and at one point down on the ground I saw the flashing light of a plane but it seemed to be moving like a car, and I lost sight of it. Have I not set up something correctly? It all seemed straight forward.

I would advise against putting the slider for AI traffic up to 100.
If you want to see some aircraft activity in the sim then perhaps the best option may be to enable “live traffic” under Options>General Options>Data and enable “Live Real-World Air Traffic”
There are also various 3rd party solutions available for injecting aircraft traffic into MSFS. You can read about some of these in this area of the forums:

I flew into a large airport, and did change it too live traffic. Plenty of activity, but still nothing to be seen in the air. ?
Spawn at EGLL, and cross check with what Flightaware is showing:
If you don’t see activity there, something’s not right.

Thanks, yes saw planes at that airport. It must be only the offline setting that has the planes flying around 300ft.
Not sure how I fix that, if it’s some setup problem with operator error?
So I still have this bug. I can’t use Live Aircraft as my system does not like it. On offline AI there is plenty of activity but its all along the ground. And thats only when I fly with ground elevations of only a couple of hundred feet. Flying around KPBF for example, at night I see AC lights, moving along the ground, in and out of it. Nothing goes higher than a couple of hundred feet. The AI pilots say that are higher but they are not.
Getting frustrating as I don’t know if fixable. Can some one do a test for me and see if they get the same result.
