NVIDIA App, no more control panel!

Hello, I installed the new Nvidia App. I uninstalled Gforce experience and NVCP because I think NVCP is no longer useful? Every time I start Windows, I get the message: NVCP cannot be found. But Nvidia App works well without NVCP. Is it a mistake to delete NVCP? Thank you.

Yes it is a (small) mistake, The new app does good work but not all the options from NVCP are available yet. So it is better to have Both the NVCP app and the new app. The new app is also a lot better then the (old) Geforce experience app).

Ok thank you for your answer

Huge improvement over GeForce Exp. app. Nice to have a mild overclocking feature. Game optimization is also way more realistic. It made me rediscover DX12. It gives me up to 12 more fps. However, it still regularly unpredictably grinds the system to a hold, and it’s very difficult to recover from that. It caused 2 CTD-s. Outside views and game filters/layers are a no-go with DX12 for me.
Any tips for DX12 to avoid/mitigate these sudden drops, and recover from them?
