Hi there!
I´ve been using TLAA pretty much since I´ve installed MSFS. Today, I tried DLSS Super Resolution (my resolution is set to 1920 x 1080, I only have a FHD monitor) with the Qulaity setting. I really get a good boost in performance, and the sim looks great. But the numbers in the PFD, MCP, etc. are still very smeary while changing.
Is that an issue which still isn´t solved, or does DLSS not make any sense with a FHD resolution.
Thanks a lot in advance for your input!

Do you have HDR10 turned on? If you do try turning it off and see if that changes the smearing.
Thx for your quick reply. I haven´t turned HDR10 on, in fact it´s greyed out, so I can´t change the setting at all.
As you have a 3070 I would use dldsr at 1440p or use a custom desktop resolution at 1440p then use dynamic super resolution in the sim, this will give clearer gauges in the cockpit.
I use this setup with my 3060 12gb and still have 60fps in the TBM even with popped out gauges to other screens.
Ok, thanks a lot! But I do only have a FHD monitor.
It will work on a fhd monitor, I use a 1080p TV and it works fine.
Ok, interesting. Will definitiv give it a try. Sorry for being a little helpless here, but how can I set 1440p in the sim with a FHD monitor? I can only select resolutions up to 1080.
So, you can select dldsr in Nvidia control panel, it’s by looking for dynamic super resolution and set to 1.78x check box. This is located under global settings in Nvidia control panel. Then you can select a higher resolution in windows display settings. This will give you 1440p reloution. Another way is to select custom resolution in Nvidia control panel and select 2560x1440 progressive and click test. After you click test, you need to then set the correct resolution in windows.
This should also set the correct 1440p display. Then you can either leave your desktop at 1080p and just set msfs to 1440p in the resolution section of the settings or you can select both desktop and msfs to the same resolution.
Thank you so much for this in depth explanation. I’ll test that tonight! ![]()
