i updated with the newer driver yesterday and found little improvement but then checked my vbios and updated that with the newest one for my gigabyte 3070 gaming oc and updated mainboard bios and now i am finding flightsim considerably smoother , area 51 in the FI spit at 4k res and everything ultra it was happy as a pig in poo at 45 fps while city flying new york below 10000ft did have it down to a low of 25 fps , then switching to 1440p all settings still ultra was chucking out happy 75-85 FPS and low city frames of 45 FPS all GPU limited according to devmode and no noticable microstutters
for me it seems a solid experience on this driver and the HAGS is on in windows , i wonder if the improvements are showing when people are doing full updates on their system as quite a lot has changed since december when we started to get these cards especially with this new SAM feature which on its own appears to do not a lot yet but maybe there is a synergy when a system has its UEFI , VBIOS and windows all on these fresh drivers
i did also assign page file to my main SSD as well according to the thread regarding CTDs under 32gb but overall since i did all these things in half an hour i have found solid gains over FS from day one
