Description of the issue:

Nvidia Frame Generation won’t work when you limit your FPS to below 100 in the Nvidia Control Panel. I reported that FG wasn’t working at all about a month ago and that was fixed, but now this issue is occuring.

  1. Limit FPS to 65 for example, in Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Open the sim and see it won’t work although it says enabled

Don’t cap fps in the Nvidia Control Panel, cap it either using the in-game menu or by setting it in the user.cfg file.

Frame Generation works just fine using those methods.

Capping it using control panel is the recommended method always. It’s not possible to use V-Sync in game when FG is active and I doubt using the user CFG is the way MS want people to go

Control Panel VSYNC does work with FG active as I do just that. It works perfectly and is a much better solution than the built in VSYNC. It must be set to ON and not FAST as fast stopped working with DX12 some time ago.

It doesn’t matter how you cap your FPS it at the end of the day, it still works just fine.
