NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 546.33 Discussion

I just clean installed 537.58 and runs better than the previous 546.XX driver.

This latest version 546.33 is also good for me.

Nvidia RTX 2070S here… DX12 works great so far with TAA so the gauges don’t blur. Don’t wanna shut bloom off. So I get that annoying flash. I also read somewhere amd fidelity fx sharpening move to 0 if you don’t want the flash BS… Still got the flash but what I read earlier was a 3000 series card. Fix the darn flash so we can use DX-12

Yep this flashing only started for me about 2 months ago after 1 year (4090) and it’s so annoying. It’s logged as a bug in the forum here but very few people seem to have voted for it.

I think that the Bloom flashing issue is a problem with DX12 and nothing that Asobo can do anything about.

This driver works really well for me. No stutters, no FPS drop, everything seems really good. I did use DDU to uninstall the previous drivers, I used Safe Mode for the first time to see if that made any difference and perhaps it did, I’m unsure.

Where is that please?

I’m wondering how 3000 series owners are finding FPS (in DX11) with this driver versus the previous one please? I appreciate it isn’t all about FPS and smoothness is very important too, but I’m just curious! Many thanks.

Anyone on a 30xx card found this latest one to be any good. Pervious drivers have been bad CTD wise for me so I’ve been stuck on 537.xx. Is 546.33 proving any more stable? (3090)

Is the clean version needed to increase performance or not?

Very smooth with clean version, I did use DDU to uninstall the previous drivers.

I installed the new driver after a proper DDU safe clean and clearing shader cache.

I just completed a 1h flight and so far no crashes of my machine, which I had observed with the previous driver(s).

I will observe it, but so far it looks good. Performance seems to be fine.

where can I download clean version?

I didn’t use the clean driver, just ddu to cleanup the old

This driver has been fine for me so far. 3 flights in. No major issues, no hangs/ctds etc. unlike the 546.xx earlier driver releases were for me. (RTX3090)

personnally notice my gpu running cooler than with the 546.29 , and seems more stable , I experienced various issues with previous one like game stuck/not responding , fan running hard

(my spec : Ryzen 7900X3D, RTX4080(FE), 64Gbram on win 11)

PS : also did a clean reinstall using DDU, remind you will have to unplug your router the time you relaunch windows to install new driver otherwise you may face a install over/meanwhile windows is installing by its own outdated nvidia driver

I have Frame Regeneration switched on and when first loaded MSFS suffers from very bad image shake when views are changed. If I switch Frame Generation off and resume then switch it back on and resume image shake in transition is gone.

VR ( reverb g2) not working with latest driver. 546.33
I had to reinstall previous driver

No problems with VR (Reverb G2) and latest driver 546.33 on my computer.

Edit: RTX 4080

It is hard to understand the reasoning for all your posts relating to Nvidia drivers.
One system is very different from another so there is no way to make comparisons.
It seems like a discussion that doesn’t really prove anything.
Am I wrong on this belief???
