I can tell you that 466.11 doesn’t work for crud on my system with a 3090 FTW3 Ultra and I’m at a loss as to why. I’ve updated bios, drivers, and even reinstalled windows after my last attempt to upgrade to a new Nvidia driver a couple of months ago broke the system and made it unable to even boot. That was a system with a couple of years on it and a number of software changes along the way so something may have been buggered. I get that. This time it’s a system with just a couple of months on a fresh windows install. Even brand new I couldn’t run the new Nvidia drivers. I just don’t understand how Microsoft and Nvidia both think these kinds of updates are acceptable.
If I was the only one seeing this I’d accept it was a problem on my system. That others are seeing it too says this is on Nvidia, again, and probably on Microsoft too.
