I had an oculus update today (rift s) and a new Nvidia Driver to download…
I have been able to up my render scale to 100 with 30mhz and 1.0.SS. I haven’t been able to do this without poor performance. But after the updates I was getting fairly reasonable smoothness with only some mild wobble…this didn’t induce motion sickness and the visuals are as crisp as I’ve seen so far in VR. The clouds weren’t so pixilated as they are with render scale set at 50 and I could read the digital screens clearly…
Anyone else found improvements or am I just imagining things.
using the link cable? I’ve been thinking about going for the virtual desktop since the link cable / software seemed to add a lot of extra load. This has been improved?
With the new driver (V25.0 beta) the Oculus services can’t start and the Rift S is not detected. With V24 beta everything was fine until the driver update.
Do you have any hints how to get it working again? With the stable V23 MSFS is not running.
